COFPMAN BILLINGS Coffman, Billings, died at 6:10 p.m. Friday in Maranatha Manor, Springfield, after an eightmonth Mr. Coffman was a native of Thedford, and moved to Sparta in 1949 and to Nixa in 1960. He had lived in the home of Victor Horton, Route 2, Billings, for the past three years.

Marilyn Ragar, Nixa; two sons, Max, of Fort Smith, and Mark, of Alexandria, his mother, Mrs. Alma Snowden, Hollister; two brothers. Kenton, of Hollister, and Dewey, of Brinkley, two sisters, Mrs. Judy. Melton, -Branson, and Mrs.

Ada Williamson, Hastings, and several nieces and nephews. DENNIS M. BILLINGSLEY Dennis M. (Bill) Billingsley, 65, of 1336 East Downing, died early Friday in an -Independence hospital after long illness. Mr.

Billingsley, a retired salesman, was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church. He moved here in 1966 from -Shawnee Mission, Kan. His wife, Ruth died Aug. 10.

Ralph Thieme will announce arrangements. Services Sunday for Harry Hatcher NEOSHO Services will be Sunday for Harry E. Hatcher. 70, former member of the Missouri Senate and House of Representatives, who died at 5:20 a.m. Friday in Sale Memorial Hospital bere.

The Republican political leader became ill in his home here and died shortly after admittance to the hospital. He was a native of Granby. Hatcher was elected to the state Senate in 1954. He was elected again in 1962, and in 1966 and 1968 won elections for representative. He was a delegate to at least one national GOP convention and had served for many years as a member of the Newton County Republican Central Committee.

We was chairman of the committee at the time of his death. Hatcher was the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor in 1960 and was the Republican Co-Chairman of the Missouri Senatorial Redistricting Commission in 1961. He was a past vice president of the Missouri Republican Veteran's League. A Mason and Shriner, Hatcher was instrumental in sending a number of crippled and burned children to Shriner's hospitais throughout the Other memberships include the Order of the Eastern Star, of which he was past patron; Granby Masonic Lodge No. 514: York Ritebodie; Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield; the Neosho and Joplin Shrine clubs: the Neosho Charter Commission: Neosho Rotary Club; and Neosho Senior Citizens Inc.

Hatcher- -was also past chairman of the Newton County chapter of the Red Cross, a life member of the Missouri Society of Registered Land Surveyors, and was a member of the national, state, and southwest chapters of Professional Engineers. He founded the Harry E. Hatcher Engineering Company here in 1942 and had retired after selling his business in 1971. Survivors include his wife, Mildred. and his daughter, Miss Wilma Hatcher, both of the home.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in. First Christian Church here with the Rev. Thomas Plumbley officiating. Burial will be in Granhy Memorial Cemetery under direc- Marjorie: four sons.

Mr. Miller died Thursday evening in St. James' Federal Soldier's Home of natural causes, according to a funeral home spokesman. He is survived by a brother. A.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; two sons, Harry, of Lockwood, and Howard, of Seattle, a daughter, Mrs, Lauretta Page, Seattle; three step sons, Merle, Dareld and Eldon Maize, all of Loekwood; a step daughter, Mrs. Nadine Roberts, Sagus, two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Haberle, Golden City, and Mrs. Ethel Bishop, Twin Falls, Idaho; 10 grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Tom Johnson and Carl Willis officiating. Graveside services will follow at Evans Cemetery east of here. Mr. Rippee died at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mansfield Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Rippee was a veteran of World War L. Survivors include his wife, Lena; five sons, Clayton, Floyd, Boyd, all of Ava, Dale, of Denair, and Eugene, of Green Rock, three daughters, Mrs. Glenda McFail, Carbon Cliff, Mrs. Gladys Holman, Moline, and Mrs.

Wood, 98, of 1520 East Broadmoor, died at 9 a.m. Friday in Cox Medical pital after a short illness. A native of Lebanon, Mrs. Wood had lived in Springfield for the past 16 years. She was the wife of the Rev.

Charles Wood, a Methodist minister in Laclede County, who died in '1960. Mrs. Wood was a member of Fairview Methodist Church 1 in Laclede County. Surviving are two sons, Joe, of San Antonio, and Ivan, of Lebanon; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hamilton, 1520 East Broadmoor, Mrs.

-Naomi Minks, St. Louis, and Mrs. Mattie Elverd, Davenport, Iowa; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Palmer Pickering Chapel in Lebanon.
