Arrangements will be announced by Thieme, a Heritage Funeral Home. Health Center, due to heart failure. Tish was born in Strafford, but was a lifelong resident of Springfield. He was a Special Agent for Farmers Alliance Insurance Company, retiring in 1980 after 25 years of service. Tish was an avid sports fan and played semi-pro baseball.

He managed the Ray Mang Yankees semi-pro baseball team. He was a basketball referee, a baseball umpire, and was a member of Referee Hall of Fame. Later in life, Tish was active playing golf. He was a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine since 1960 and was the Captain of the Marching Patrol from 1977-81. He was a trustee from 1982-3.

Tish was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Europe with distinction during World War II. He was a charter member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and a member of Twin Oaks Country Club and Greene Hills Country Club. Tish never met a stranger and he will be missed by his many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Elizabeth in 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; a daughter and her husband, Maribeth and Larry Robertson, Springfield; his mother, Janie Masterson, Springfield; two sisters, Beulah Fleischaker, and Betty Jane Michaelson, both from Pittsburgh, a step-daughter and her husband, Diane C. and C. Frank three grandchildren, Llndy Robertson, Warrensburg, Julie Robertson, and Julie Miller, both of Springfield. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 1995, in Klingner Mortuary with the Revs.

She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, and she was the president of Southwestern Bell Pioneers of Jonesboro, Ark.

She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and his wife, Richard H. and Carol Follis; three brothers, Joseph Shipman, Willard, Richard Shipman, Harrison, and John Shipman, Clever; two granddaughters, Sheryl Follis, Kansas City, and Charlotte Follis-Marshall and her husband Richard, Springfield; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Carrie; and many friends here and in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev.

"Shorty" Barnett, 77, Springfield, passed away at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 1995, in Springfield Residential Care Center, after a lengthy illness. i He was a native of Cabool and a lifelong resident of the Greene County area. Clyde Davis REEDS SPRING Clyde Davis, 94, Reeds Spring, son of Martin Fisher and Laura Welch Davis, was born July 8, 1900, in Cristian County, and departed this life at 3:49 p.m.

Wednesday, March 22, 1995, In Arora Community Hospital at the age of 94 years, 8 months, ana 14 days. Clyde, a retired farmer, had been a lifelong resident of this area. He was married to Neva Richardson on Aug. 14, 1920, who preceded him in death in 1982. He attended Faith Tabernacle and was a devoted Christian who will be greatly missed by his many friends.

He is survived by two sons, Lloyd and Dale Davis, both of Marionvilie; three daughters, Merle Mallonee, Crane, Marie Gamble, Marionvilie, and Doris Cutbirth, Reeds Spring; a grandson, raised in his home, Russell, Marionvilie; a sister, Irene Milton, Le Compton, 19 grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Davis, 99, Ava, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 1995, in Meadowbrook Manor, Ava. She was born Oct. 1, 1895, in Douglas County, the daughter of Isaac Brown and Amanda Morris Brown. She was united in marriage to Elmer Davis, Feb.

28, 1914, in Ava, and was a lifelong resident of Ava. She was was a home-maker, and she was a mem ber of Highway Church of the Nazarene for 46 years. She was preceded in death by two sons, Cecil and Earnest; two daughters, Fern and Christine; eight brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Herman, and Gene, Davis, both of Ava; a sister, Lula Shrum, Lowery City; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Robert Lee Gammill Robert Lee Gammill, 58, Springfield, passed away at 10:09 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 1995, in St. John's Regional Health Center. Robert was born Aug. 9, 1936, in Springfield to Robert and Bertha Gammill.

He was a tire repairman. He loved antique cars and reading. He is survived by three sons, Frank and his wife, Mar-cy, Springfield, Darrell, state of Massachusetts, and Jerry and his wife, Kay, state of Oklahoma; three daughters, Leah Benton Gammill, Ozark, Carol Jo Durr and her husband Tim, and Roberta Marie Lyons, all of Springfield; his mother, Bertha Mae Gammill, Springfield; three brothers, Jerry and his wife, Harlene, Collinsvilie, James and his wife, Barbara, Minneapolis, and Tom, Springfield; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson. Services will be at 10 a.m.

today, March 24, 1995, in Forest Lawn Ceme Lance Dodgen Bright PALM BEACH GARDEN, Fla. -Lance Dodgen Bright, 19, Palm Beach Garden, formerly of Rogersville and Springfield, died Monday, March 20, 1995, in Palm Beach Garden, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Lance was born May 19, 1975, in Monroe, La. He moved to Missouri in 1978 and attended elementary and middle school in Rogersville. He returned to Monroe, in 1988 and graduated from Louisiana School for Math and Science and the Arts, an academically accredited high school in Natchitoches, La.

He attended Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, before moving with his family to Palm Beach Garden, in 1994. He is survived by his mother, Myla Lance Bright, Palm Beach Garden, nis father, Dr. James E. Bright, Springfield; a brother, Robert Wilson "Will-Bright, Springfield; his maternal grandparents, Howard and Mildred Lance, Monroe, and his paternal grandmother, Charlotte Finch Bright, Springfield. Private graveside services will be at 1 p.m.

Clevenger, 54, Ozark, died Wednesday, March 22, 1995, in his home, from a heart attack.

He was born Feb. 28, 1941, Sparta, the son of Ruth Nance Clevenger and Carl Preston Clevenger. He lived all his life in the Sparta and Ozark communities and in Branson for six years. R.C. retired from G.T.E.

Telephone Company in 1993, after 31 years of service. He was a musician, having played with many area groups, and was one of the founders of Rogersville Jamboree. He played bass many years for the Victory Quartet. R.C. was an avid coon hunter.

He was a member of Victory Baptist church for many years.
