They also have 12 grandchildren: Shelly, Sarah, Matthew, Amy, Chad, Eddie, Nathan, Hannah, Scott, Nicole, Elizabeth and Jaymes; and three great-grandchildren: Logan, Abby and Isabelle.

Wendell and Shirley (Jenkins) Morgan of Springfield, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this year. They were married June 16, 1957, in McLeansboro, 111. A family meal will be hosted by their son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Lori Morgan of Springfield.

The couple has three children, Keith Morgan of Nixa, Alan Morgan of Springfield and Rita Branson of Columbus, Onio. They have eight granddaughters, Molly, Melanie and Faith Morgan of Springfield, and Renee, Casey, Bethany, Erin and Katie of Columbus, Ohio. Wendell is a retired design engineer and Shirley is an elementary school teacher. Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Mary Shumate, daughter of Scott and Pat Shumate of Lebanon, to Jason Russell, son of Doug and Kim Russell of Lebanon. attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a physical therapist at Lake Regional Health System.

The future groom attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a commercial lender at U.S. Bank. Wedding plans are for June 30, 2007, in Seaside, Florida. A reception will be held in Lebanon on July 21, 2007. The couple will reside in Osage Beach.

Ralph and Charlotte were married on June 7, 1942, in Springfield, Mo. They celebrated with a family barbecue given by.their daughters and sons-in-iaw, rat ana Larry Mccarty ana unaa and Bill Gillick.
