3, 1917, in Paragould, the son of Samuel and Ola Rouse Biggs. He had I served in World War Il in the U.S. Army. He was a retired machinist with the Frisco Railroad. He was a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lorene Loveless Biggs, of the home; a daughter and her husband, Brenda and James Woody; and a granddaughter, Michelle Woody, all of Springfield.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Hazelwood Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Diffee officiating under direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Formal visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Charlaine Elizabeth Estes CLEVER Charlaine Elizabeth Estes, 72, ColJege Park, formerly of Clever, died Nov. 6, 1993, in Olney, Md. She was born Oct. 25, 1918, in Clever, the daughter of John Elmer and Mary Iva Cox Estes.

She graduated from Drury College and was a retired artist. She is survived by a sister, Helen Houston, Bethesda, Md. Graveside memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 1994, in Mt. Carmel Cemetery south of Clever with the Rev.

Maxine Reed Condra, 68 was preceded in death by her husband, Dee mer; a son, Bob Hammer; her mother and father; and seven brothers and sisters. Hanafin, 73, Clever, died at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 1994, following a long illness. He was born April 22, 1920, in Clever to Cloyd H. and Tishie Jones Hanafin. He was a retired maintenance man at Cox Medical Center, a member of Eagles Aurora, and a past member of Clever Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Velma; two sons and their wives, Jim and Donna, Nixa, and John and Kim, Clever; a stepson and his wife, Robert and Janie Allmon, Galena; a daughter and her husband, Judy and Doug Forgey, Clever; three step-daughters and their husbands, Jane and Vernell Tunnell, Aurora, Janice and Raymond Eutsler, Billings, and Judy and Jim Jones, Clever; three brothers and their wives, Ottis and Vergie, Leon and Mary, and Donald and Ruby, all of Clever; a sister and her husband, Betty and George White, Clever; five grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Friday, March 18, 1994, in Ash Grove Nursing Home. Mrs. Hawk was born in Greene County and was a lifelong resident of the Walnut Grove area. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Grove NIXA Services for Janie Belle Estes, Nixa, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Adams Funeral Home with burial in Hopedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Estes, a homemaker, died Thursday in St. John's Regional Health Center. LaVerne E. Ford, 70 Janie Belle Estes, 87 KIMBERLING CITY No services are planned at this time for LaVerne E.

Ford, Kimberling City. The body will be cremated under direction of Snapp's Funeral Home, Branson. Burial will be at a later date in Springfield National Cemetery. Mrs. Ford, a retired secretary, died at 5 a.m.

Loring Lewis Hurt GREENFIELD Loring L. Hurt, 92, Greenfield, son of the late Lon T. Rachel Jane Scroggs Hurt, passed away at 4 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 1994, in Dade County Nursing Home. Born Oct.

11, 1901, in Greenfield, he was reared, educated, and was a lifetime resident of Dade County. Loring was united in marriage to Edith I. Daughtrey on June 8, 1929, in Greenfield. She preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 1988.

They were married for 59 years and were the parents of six children. Loring was a retired farmer and rural letter carrier. a retired LPN, died at 8:30 Friday in St. John's Regional Center. Visitation will be to 8:30 p.m.

Julien Herman A. Julien, 82, Springfield, passed away at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 1994, in St. John's Regional Health Center. On June 30, 1911, in Webster County, he was born to E.B.

and Russia Marie Davis Julien. Mr. Julien graduated from Seymour High School and attended Jefferson City Junior College. He served in the Air Corps during World War I1, after which he returned to work for the Division of Employment Security in Jefferson City, where he became director of that agency, serving for eight years in that capacity until his retirement in Springfield in 1973. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hardesty Julien, of the home; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Julien, Raytown, and Marguerite Hardesty, Yardley, a niece, Virginia Lee Branson King, Pensacola, and a nephew, Jim Julien, Raytown.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Maple Park Cemetery with the Rev. Charles retired waitress, died at 2:30 day in Citizens Memorial Bolivar. Visitation will be p.m. today in Cantlon Funeral Buffalo.

Bahn officiating under direction of Greenlawn FUneral Home South. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Elizabeth Charlotte Lamb Elizabeth Charlotte Lamb, 85, Springfield, born Feb. 10, 1909, in Sumner, died at 12:55 a.m.

Wednesday in St. John's Regional Health Center. She was the youngest of five children born to Ira J. and Mattie Myers. She was married May 24, 1930, in Cordell, to Floyd Lamb, who preceded her in death in 1984.

Always an outstanding student, Elizabeth attended Southwestern State College, Weatherford, and at the age of 18, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with majors in English and Spanish. She taught in Cordell, Lawton, and Seminole before moving to Oklahoma City in 1952 where she was a member of the faculties at Jackson Junior High and Classes Senior High Schools. The Lambs moved to Springfield in 1952, then built a retirement home in Kimberling City in 1966. The superintendent of nearby Reeds Spring schools persuaded Elizabeth to join his staff as English instructor. She remained there five years before moving back to Springfield.

Elizabeth and Floyd joined National Avenve Christian Church in 1962. Active in women's programs, Elizabeth served as president of Christian Women's Fellowship and as president of her circle for 10 years. She joined the Newcomers' Club in 1952 and still played in a bridge club composed mainly of her original Newcomers' friends. A gourmet cook, she was well-known for special dishes she served at church events and as a frequent hostess in her home. The Lambs traveled extensively and she maintained her longtime interest in the arts, particularly all kinds of music and dancing.

Recognized by her students, as well as her peers, as a master teacher, Elizabeth was inspired to teach by her parents, who were career high school and college teachers. Although she had no children of her own, she had a special magical touch in reaching out to youngsters of all ages. In Loving Memory of Ruth Jean Foley Riley Born Aug. 9, 1935 Died March 11, 1994 Ruth was born in rural Greene County near Fellows Lake to Raymond and Sarah Foley, the youngest of seven children.

She attended grade school in Liberty, a oneroom school near her home, high school in Fair Grove, and later, Central High in Springfield. She moved to California when she was 18. Ruth was a nurse employed by the State of California and worked in a facility of correction for young people. She died of cancer in the home of her son in Las Vegas, Nev. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Roberta Skidmore.

She is survived by her three children: two daughters and their husbands, Sarah and Tom Roe, Springfield, and Sherry and James Stockton, San Luis Obispo, and a son, Eric Eberle, Las Vegas, three granddaughters, Tiana Roe, Springfield, and Tamera Evanoff and Cassandra CROCKER Services for James Morris, Crocker, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Long Funeral Home with burial in Crocker Cemetery. Mr. Morris, a retired pipe fitter, died Fri- Stockton, both of San Luis Obispo, two grandsons, Joshua Evanoff, San Luis Obispo, and Jason Roe, Springfield, three sisters and their husbands, Gladys and Jack Cotter, Cupertino, Louise and Jack Skidmore, and Billie and 1 Wayne McMillian, all of Springfield; two brothers and their wives, Raymond and Gloria Foley, Creedmore, N.C., and Bob and Betty Foley, Springfield. Ruth was a beautiful person, thoughtful and caring, much loved by family, friends, and coworkers.

She will be sadly missed by all. A private family memorial service was held in Las Vegas, Nev. Onos 'Bud' White ASH GROVE Onos "Bud" White, 84, Ash Grove, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 1994, in Ash Grove Nursing Home. He was born in Ash Grove, the son of John Y.

and Mary Emily Breshears White. He was a graduate of Ash Grove High School Class of 1928. He was a lifelong resident of the Ash Grove area. His first wife, Agatha Fortner, preceded him in death in 1986. He was united in marriage to his second wife, Permelia Hoover, in March 1987.

He retired after years as a frameman with Southwestern Bell. He was a member of Ash Grove First Baptist Church, Ash Grove Masonic Lodge A.F.& A.M., Abou-Ben-Adhem Shrine Temple, and Ash Grove Sportsman Club. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorenda June, in 1964. He is survived by his wife, Permelia; three stepsons and their wives, Tom and Judy Martin, Oklahoma City, Robert and Emogene Martin, Midway, and Paul and Sharon Martin, Springfield; eight stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m.
