Army veteran, George was married for almost 53 years to Wilma. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; a daughter, Jena; sons, Doug, Greg, Erick' and Derek; 10 grandchildren, Bryant, Melissa, Danelle, Jason, Chris, Joshua, CT, Ashley, Mitchell and Kristine; and a greatgrandchild, Joshua. George's surviving family members also include a sister, Mae Barker; a brother, John Barnett; three nieces; and three nephews. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, 1999, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South.

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Cove, Springfield; his father, Barry Byalick, Riverside, a sister, Marlene Byalick; a brother, Ronald Cove, both of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews. Saturday in the funeral home. Charles "Keith" Hammond NIXA Charles "Keith" Hammond, 50, Nixa, passed away at 11:34 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 1999, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Mo. Keith was born Nov. 3, 1948, in Lincoln, to Dwight and Elaine Allen Hammond.

He was a graduate of Fordland High School, class of 1967, and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He worked for Associated Grocers 19 years and was a member the Teamsters Union of Springfield. Surviving is his mother, Elaine Hammond, Fordland; two daughters, Janell Hammond and Alicia Hammond, and their mother, Vicki Russell, all of Springfield; three brothers and their wives, Ronald and Carol Hammond, Nixa, and Jerry and Mary Ann Hammond, and Mickey and Marlene Hammond, all of Springfield; aunts and uncles, Velma and Harry Wilson, St. Louis, Galen Hammond, Peoria, Luella Hicks, Hot Springs, Robert Allen, Washington, and Wesley Allen, Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews.

Lathrop; a son, Ken Lathrop, Springfield, two daughters and their husbands, Debby and Dwight Maggard, Lebanon, and Libby and Jeff Pendleton, Marionville, a brother, Hobert Lathrop, Aurora, and five grandchildren. Wayne Henry Matthews HIGH RIDGE Wayne Henry Matthews was born April 23, 1951, in Bolivar, to Henry Francis and Gladys Leon Mathis Matthews, and passed away Monday, May 3, 1999, in St. Joseph Hospital, Kirkwood, following a sudden illness. He was employed by the Chrysler Corporation and built Dodge trucks.

He was a lifetime member of the National Fishermans Association and the U.A.W. Woltman Leonard M. Woltman, was born April 13, 1921, in Waukesha, and departed this life at 8:35 a.m. May 5, 1999, in Springfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Springfield, Mo. He married Ophelia Avaritt on Sept. 5, 1943.

During World War li he served in England with the 8th Army Air Force, 452nd Bomb Group. He is survived by his wife; sons, Tom Woltman, Lenexa, and Terry Woltman, Aurora, and their wives; seven grandchildren; four two brothers; and two sisters. He was transferred to Springfield in 1978 and fell in love with the Ozarks. He retired in 1988 after many years in the insurance businesss. His great love was doing work for the Lord.

He was so proud and happy, to have served for almost years as a religious volunteer at the Federal Medical Center where he touched many lives. He was a member of Sunset Church of Christ. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 1999, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with Joe Bright and John Alley officiating. No formal visitation is planned.
