Jefferson, Springfield, MO 65806. Lena Rosen Lena Rosen, 85, Springfield, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997, in Cox Medical Center South. She was bom Lena Minken on May 17, 1911, In St.

Louis. Mo. She met a German immigrant, Arthur Rosen, and they were married on Valentine's Day. 1937. After their marriage, they moved to Springfield, where they managed and then purchased the Busy Bee Department Store.

In 1971, they sold the stores to their son, Mark, and Lena and Arthur, who died in January 1994, traveled extensively together, seeing much of the world. Lena was a warm and loving wife and mother with a sharp senss of humor that she retained until the end of her life. She is survived by her son, Mark H. Rosen; a daughter, Frances R. Wolff, both of Springfield; and four grandchildren, Alan, Lauren and Jill Rosen, and Leroy Rottmann.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Temple Israel Cemetery under direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Israel Building Fund or to American Heart Association. Mrs. Allison, a retired teacher, Obituaries Bill G. Bradshaw Bill G. Bradshaw, 66, Springfield, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan.

16, 1997, in his home. He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Springfield, the son of the late Paul and Beulah Layton Bradshaw. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed as a Sales Representative, semi-retired, for Missouri Southern Seed Company.

He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was married to Rosanna Logue Bradshaw, the Associate Director of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks, who preceded him in death Aug. 19, 1993. Mr. Bradshaw is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Elizabeth Ann (Betsy) and Greg Burris, Springfield, and Linda and Bernie DeBerry, Dyersburg, two grandchildren, victoria Burris, Springfield, and Matthew DeBerry, Dyersburg, and two cousins, Gloria Renfro and Glenda Sturdevant, both of Springfield.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 1997. in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with Dr. Dorsey Levell officiating.

Alma Maher O'Reilly Alma Maher O'Reilly, born Feb. 11, 1916, died in her home Jan. 17, 1997, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always had a positive outlook and was an Inspiration to all who knew her. Alma was active in many organizations and was a longtime volunteer at St. John's Regional Health Center. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Bauer; her daughter, Jo Ann Bauer H'Doubler; and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband.

'Chub" O'Reilly three sons and their wives, Jack and Harriett Bauer, Tom and Mary Bauer and Mike ter, Mariann Dishman, Springfield; a son, Don Jefferis, Ran-cho Santa Margarita, eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Jan. 17, 1997, in his home with his loving wife, Betty, at his side. He was the son of Herbert and Carrie Bilyeu Mayberry, bom June 5, 1921, In Christian County, Mo. Joe was united In marriage to Betty Lesher on Aug. 9, 1941.

To this marriage six children were born, four survive. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Gladys Schnake; a brother, Glen Mayberry; and Infant twin daughters, Nancy Louise and Carol Lea. Joe achieved many accomplishments during his lifetime, the most Important of all was serving his Lord through the way he lived his life and caring for his family. He was an ordained deacon and a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Vernon. He worked many years as a dairy farmer, heavy equipment operator, served Christian County as Sheriff from 1972 to 1976.

served Lawrence County as Presiding Judge of the County Court In the 1980s and also owned his own real estate company In Mount Vernon. (Joe will be dearly missed by his many loved ones and friends. Pain had wrecked his body and suffering had been great, but peace and rest now abide. He was a true husband and loving father. JOSEPH Lucille Gibson, 82, St. Joseph, formerly of Columbia, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997, in a St. Joseph hospital. She was born Feb.

1, 1914, to P.B. and Nancy V. (Peck) Simpson in Springfield. She grew up and graduated from nigh school In Springfield and later attended Springfield Business College. She then worked as a secretary for the District Office of the Farm and Home Administration in Springfield until 1965.

On Nov. 6, 1965, she was united in marriage to Eugene Gibson in Chevy Chase, Md. After their marriage, they lived in Hampton, until 1970, when they moved to Columbia, where they lived until 1995, when they movied to St. Joseph. Lucille was a member of Gower Christian Church.

She Is survived by her husband, Eugene, of the home; and a sister, Louise Gibson, Centerville, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, in Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, Mo. Burial will be In Allen Cemetery.
